Impact investors deserve an awesome podcast. Unfortunately...
For a bunch of reasons, impact investing interviews have become bland. General questions with scripted answers. Too much about the mission and not enough about the investing. Discussions stay at the 40,000 ft. level because that's the host's comfort zone.
I wanted more. So, I created Impact Investing Roadshow.
But does the world actually need another podcast? No, not if it's a cookie cutter approach. However, Impact Investing Roadshow takes a different approach.
Two principles make Impact Investing Roadshow different and worth your time.
First - Deals are what we talk about in real life, so let's talk about them on a podcast. The devil and the learning are in the details. That's why the show explores a manager's investment thesis, impact mission, and deal execution by dissecting a single deal. We go deep on a deal's specifics and the manager's process. You can hear about an investor's favorite book and morning routine somewhere else 😏
Second - Releasing the show as seasons, not weekly, dramatically raises quality. I refuse to get on the weekly podcast treadmill and interview whoever is willing to talk to me that week. Quality, not the calendar, will drive the quantity and length of episodes.
Cool, but who are you and why should you host Impact Investing Roadshow?
Best thing to do is check me out on LinkedIn. I've been in the investing game for awhile now and even done some podcasting. But my main qualification is insatiable curiosity.
